 Dr. William A. Nahhas

Recipient of the Champion of Hope Award for his work with cancer patients.

About the Author

Dr. William A. Nahhas, BSc, MD, FACOG, FACS, is a board-certified Gynecologic Oncologist, a specialist in the treatment of cancer of the female reproductive organs. In spite of sponsoring an active patient support group and numerous social activities, it was apparent that cancer treatment, whether successful or not, left an emptiness in the soul that only the Spirit of God could fill. However, working in a secular institution made it nearly impossible to communicate God’s love and direct involvement in every aspect of patient care. The articles he wrote, which were distributed to patients over many years, became the vehicles through which God became a living, active participant in that care. These articles have now been compiled into an inspirational devotional!

Dr. Nahhas is an elder in the Presbyterian church and is active in adult Christian education. Also an avid dog lover, he enjoys spending time with his hunting dogs Honey, Sam, Sugar, and Teddy.
